A beagle for all seasons...

Yes, I am one of those crazy dog owners that scraps their pets ALOT...but how can I not?? She's just so darned CUTE!!!

I saw this sketch on the My Mind's Eye blog and the theme was "fall"...so I HAD to!!

I promise next time it will be the kids playing in the leaves...but they are so busy lately, that the best I could do was the beagle! :)

Layout Challenge Friday...BoBunny

There was a challenge on the BoBunny Blog recently to add a 3D element to your page. I began thinking about the Sizzix die cut stars I had and decided to stack them on top of each other (something I had honestly never done before...but will again soon!!). I really love how they turned out!

Another sketch from Basic Grey

Can I just tell you that I LOVE that Basic Grey now has a BLOG?? This was a sketch challenge that was issued on the blog. I love that it has so many pictures. I have been trying to catch up on my Mexico pictures from last year and this was a great way to showcase all the melon sculptures...yes, I spent a lot of time taking pictures of watermelons! LOL

Sorry about the picture...it was late and it didn't seem to photograph easy. Hoping to take a better picture tomorrow...but for now...enjoy!

October sketch challenge from Imaginesce

I have been LOVING the sketches lately and getting SO MUCH done!! Here is my latest sketch...


I found this camping paper a couple months ago at Archivers and had set these pictures next to it to scrap...then I saw this sketch and it was meant to be! :)

Authentique Sketch Challenge...

Authentique is a relatively new company and I am LOVING them!! They even have 24x12 paper that folds down the middle so you can make your layouts EVEN BIGGER!! Love that! This month they had a sketch challenge and I just happened to get some of the awesome paper in my kit club...so I had to try it out!




This is Logan on Back to School Night this year. Alas, I had to be in class, so I didn't get to go (ironic, huh?) but Shane did a good job taking pictures for me!! Good Daddy!!! I flipped the sketch because Dad apparently likes taking pictures this way. Thanks for looking!!

I love this picture of Annee!! When I saw this sketch on the Jillibean Soup Blog I just knew it would be the perfect layout for this picture!!



With the weather being in the 70s and 80s this week, it sure feels like summer around here, but the falling leaves remind me that it's not.

A sketch from Basic Grey...

There was a really cool card sketch on the Basic Grey blog. But alas, I don't make many cards, so I turned it into a layout and I am really happy with it. Normally I hoard my Basic Grey supplies, but I was brave and used some.
