A Sketch in Thyme

And we are back to Disney 2014 photos!!  2014 was cool because we were there during the World Cup.  In Epcot you could actually go and WATCH the World Cup on TV while at the park.  That actually seemed crazy to me...we were in EPCOT?!!  Why would I want to watch soccer??  But I suppose if the Super Bowl was on, I would want to at least get score updates.

So I saw this sketch at A Sketch in Thyme:

and immediately thought of my World Cup topiary pictures.  I used a bunch of my older stash, including my precious Scrappin Sports and More soccer paper and this is what I came up with...

Make it Monday

So in my quest to finish up some of my older albums, I ran across this amazing sketch at The Memory Nest :

and decided it was the perfect fit for one of my San Diego Zoo pages:

I was also able to dig into my older stash and scraps to complete the layout...another goal of mine as of late.  The journaling tells of the uniqueness of the Galapagos Tortoises, which is a highlight of the zoo.

A Challenge to Scrap Our Stash - accepted!

This month's challenge at Scrap Our Stash was to use the letters in the word STAMP to make a layout.  Here is what I came up with...

S - Sticker
T - Ten photos
A - Authentique/Alpha Stamps/Arrow
M - My Mind's Eye
P - Paint

This was such a fun challenge and forced me to get out my old foam stamps and paint!  Now that's using my stash for sure!!
