Rusty Pickles and Cookies...

So Bailee has a new hobby...baking cookies. Maybe not from "scratch"...but they are still yummy! So this season, our house has been filled with the smells of cookies (much to the dismay of my diet). So when I saw the October sketch on the Rusty Pickle blog, I thought of these pictures immediately!! I am pretty happy with the way it turned out and I got to feed my addiction for Halloween papers...and Sizzix ghosts (made from MORE Rusty Pickle paper). Aren't they cute??

Back 2 School

Another year...another school picture. This year we had the option to pick the backgrounds, so since they were fall pictures, I wanted a fall background. Lucky for me, Scrappin Sports & More not only makes sports papers, they make seasonal papers and school papers. So there you go...another school picture scrapped!! At this rate, I might actually stay caught up on these! LOL

This was my first time submitting to this ezine and they picked up my layout! I am so excited!! Although I can't post the actual layout for the time being...it was a wonderful moment when my sweet teen daughter allowed me to take some candid shots of her (a rarity lately!!). The layout just fell together with awesome supplies from Scrappin Sports and More...and will now be on display for all to see!!

Insomnia = mojo!

Well, I have been working CRAZY amounts of hours lately and that has apparently caused some insomnia. The good news...I have apparently found my mojo! LOL These 2 layouts were based on Becky Fleck sketches for a sketch contest at A Peek Into Yesterday...one of my favorite scrappy stores!

The Chinese Theater was taken when I was at CHA in January. My BFF, Ana, had taken us site seeing. I have to say...the theater was cool...but Hollywood at night...SCARY!!! Still...it was the first time I had been there so I was a total sight-seeing geek!!

The dinosaur picture was another sight seeing adventure when we recently went to Millenium Park in Chicago. Not quite as far...but still had a great time. Bailee is all about posing lately! She cracks me up!

Hopefully I can keep the creative streak going...my scraproom is a disaster...but I am determined! Wish me luck!
