The Memory Cafe...

My friend, Suzy, at The Memory Cafe has the CUTEST etsy shop!! I was fortunate enough to get to design with some of her die cut corners! Oh so cute!!! It went perfect with some awesome paper from Upsy Daisy and more school picture (yep...almost caught up!!)

I made a card and I like it!

I know...I know...but why make cards when Hallmark does such a great job?? I am totally there with ya...until I saw a pattern to try this lovely card!! Seriously...I am hooked on cards now. No...I don't have a fever...LOL

This was SO FUN!! And I have to say...the Bo Bunny stickers were a perfect accent for the bottom of the pot. Stay tuned...I feel more of these coming on! Guess I'd better actually SEND them to people now, right??

And in other scrappy news...

My dear hubby, Shane, has converted to the dark side...he has become my scrappin buddy. I kid you not!!! We went to (Christy...shut your ears)...Paramore/No Doubt concert a couple of weeks ago and he wanted to scrap the pictures. Apparently he had the vision of the layout AT the concert. Yep...he's got it BAD!!!! He did this layout. Isn't it cool??? There are nearly 50 pictures on those 2 pages and he tore each and every one of them and placed them just so. There is also 2 pages of journaling...yes...I said JOuRNALING...on the back.

He is so consumed that he got another 100 pictures so he can scrap the No Doubt portion of the concert. I am going to go get him his own album!

I have to say though...it is awesome to have someone like Shane in my life that is so involved in what I do and so supportive of me. This year we will have been married 17 years...yeah, I'm THAT old! LOL But I love him the same or more today than I did back all those years ago...and now you all can see why...He's just as crazy as I am!!!!!

So thanks for letting me be mushy. I guess I can be a little mushy on my blog if I want, right? And Shane...if you are reading this (and I KNOW you can't stay away...so you ARE)...I LOVE YOU BUNCHES!!! <3 <3 <3

The moment we've all been waiting for...

The first official page on Nathaniel!!! And how perfect was it for Scrappin Sports & More to come out with a family line JUST IN TIME!!! THANKS GUYS!!!! They are really too good to me! *wink*

So there you have it...my adorable nephew Nathaniel! Rumor has it he looks like his daddy. Either way...we sure think he's a cutie!!!

Twisted Sketches...

I recently stumbled upon this fun challenge blog. Who doesn't love sketches? And to add an extra "twist" they challenge you to use certain products with the sketch. This week was to use fabric. Can I just say I LOVE MY SIZZIX!!! It even cuts fabric, which allowed me to make fabric sails on my ship!! SO FUN! Oh...and the scrap of fabric cost me $.19 at Wal-Mart and I have TONS left. I see a whole FLEET in my future! LOL

This layout is of Logan at Disney. For one of the pirate boat rides, he was picked to be the driver of the boat. We all knew that he wasn't really driving, but he sure didn't! It was hilarious!!! He thought he was BIG STUFF!!!! He even got an honorary Skipper card (which is safely tucked away on the back of the layout.) Ahoy! ya scurvy dawgs! LOL

OK,I know I probably say this every time Scrappin Sports & More release a new line...but this release is by far my favorite!!!





There is a complete family line (like the sibling layout seen above) that is 2 sided. Stay tuned...there will DEFINATELY be some baby boy layouts coming soon!! (Side note...Nathaniel and Mama are home and doing well!!)

They have also expanded their sports lines...LOVE THEM!!! They go so well with the Sports on Fire papers released at CHA Winter and they have coordinating STICKERS!! Oh yeah!!!

This is a paper that I designed to showcase all the many zoo pictures we take every year. My dear friend, Jessica, took this picture of Logan when his daycare went to preview the new African journey! How awesome is that? A daycare that takes pictures for you??? THANKS JESSICA!!!!!

That is a project that is small enough that I think I can actually accomplish it. This is Bailee's 6th grade beginning of the year picture. It is amazing to me how she has changed in just one year. She is sure growing up!

1 Creative Bug does just that...they customize nearly anything you want and make it AWESOME!! When I got back from Disney, I had over 600 pictures that I had taken. I knew I had some layouts already in my head (don't we all??!). This Bug's Life page was one of them. I knew I wanted this big leaf, but I have to tell you...what I see in my head and what I can actually put on paper are often 2 very different things. So...I e-mailed my dear friend, Christy, at 1 Creative Bug (link on my sidebar) and told her my vision. She totally made it come to life!!! This is one of my fav pages in my album now!!!
