It's all in the DETAILS

Over at the American Crafts Blog, the weekly challenge is to work with Details. These are like paper piecings...only BETTER!! They are the perfect accent to a layout that just needs something. For this layout, I used them to emphasize the beach theme. This is Bailee and Logan on the beach when we went to Mexico. The word "sand" was actually die cut from the extra picture trimmed from the 2 smaller pictures. With the sailboat and wave, I actually took the detail apart so that it fit better clustered with the crab. Yep...you can make them fit YOUR layout!

After getting hit with 4-5" of snow over the last couple days, it was nice to scrap something WARM!! I am ready to go BACK!!!
